Parma, 31 July 2020 – Nicola Pavarini is the Old Flame of Lecce vs. Parma, the final game of the season.
Born in 1974, the goalkeeper began his career in Brescia’s youth system. In 1995, he joined Cremapergo on loan before returning to his parent club, where he would go on to make a total of 16 appearances. He then went back out on loan, enjoying spells with Gualdo and Cesena.
After a brief stint with Siena, Pavarini joined Lecce and played 17 times for the Giallorossi in 2007. After Lecce, he came to Parma, where he would end his playing career.
With the Crociati, Pavarini played as a regular starter in the Club’s successful fight for promotion to Serie A in 2009. Pavarini made a total of 77 appearances for Parma before retiring from football in 2014.
