Parma, 10 September 2018 – Parma Calcio’s international contingent are still away competing for their respective countries, so we’re providing you with a quick round-up of what’s been going on in their friendly and Nations League matches.
Francesco Sierralta‘s Chile are now preparing for their friendly against South Korea on Tuesday 11 September. The South American side should’ve also played Japan in Sapporo, however, the earthquake that hit the northern part of the country meant that the game was cancelled. As for their game against South Korea, Chile will be action tomorrow at 20:00 local time in Suwon.
Meanwhile, Leo Štulac recently made his senior debut for Slovenia during a 2-1 defeat to Cyprus, with the match played out on 9th September in League C of the Nations League. Beric scored the game’s opening goal before a strike from Sotiriou and an own goal from Stojanovic proved decisive. Štulac came on in the 76th minute to take the place of Kurtic. As for Slovenia’s other friendly, for which Štulac was not involved, they lost 2-1 at home to Bulgaria.
Lastly, Federico Dimarco will soon be back in action for Italy’s Under-21 side, as they look to redeem themselves following a 3-0 loss to Slovakia. Dimarco came on in the 80th minute during the last fixture, as he took the place of Pezzella. The next game for Luigi Di Biagio’s side will be on Sunday 11 September in Cagliari against Albania (kick-off is at 18:30 CEST).
