Collecchio, 23 August 2018 – Following his debut goal against Udinese on the first day of the season, Roberto Inglese was today presented to the press at Collecchio.
Here is what the striker had to say:
“My characteristics? I like to put myself about, I don’t like to remain static and I like to help my teammates. The important is thing is to be clinical, as already shown last Sunday.
“When the director came calling I didn’t have any doubts in my mind. Everyone knows Parma, it’s a team of history and tradition and for me, it’s an honour to wear this shirt. I had a great time at Napoli and I experienced a completely different style of football. However, I prefer to a battle in football, as this is how it will be with Parma. I am pleased to have joined the cause, and it’s exactly what I wanted: to be a key player and to do what I know best – to run.
“I feel like a normal player. I’ve done well over the past three years in Serie A but I still have a lot more to prove and I am happy to do it here at Parma. We’ll then see what happens in the future. I never have pre-set targets in terms of goals, but I hope to score important goals in our race to stay up. The important thing will be to all celebrating together in May.”
