PARMA VS. BRESCIA, THE OLD FLAME: DANIELE ZORATTO

Parma, 20 December 2019 – Daniele Zoratto is the Old Flame for Parma vs. Brescia, the Crociati’s last match of 2019.

Zoratto made his Serie A debut during the 1981/82 season and, after spending a year at Rimini, he joined Brescia. He played for the Rondinelle from 1983 to 1989 and scored five goals in 167 appearances as the team from Lombardy jumped from Serie C1 to Serie A in the middle of the 1980s.

In 1989/90, Zoratto moved to Parma. In his first year at the Club, the Crociati earned a historic first promotion to Serie A. He remained on Parma’s books until 1994 and made 144 appearances in the process. Most significantly, he was at the Club when the Crociati won the Coppa Italia, UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup and the Supercoppa Italiana. During that period, he also played for the Italian National Team in the Azzurri’s USA ’94 qualification match against Switzerland when Arrigo Sacchi was at the helm.

His career came to an end at Padova in 1994/95.
