Parma, 27 July 2020 – It’s time for another Match Pack: here are all the facts and figures that you need to know ahead of Parma vs. Atalanta:

Parma and Atalanta have faced each other 39 times in Serie A, with the Crociati’s record against the Orobici reading as follows: 14 wins, 13 draws and twelve defeats. When it comes to matches played on Parma’s home turf, there have been nine Gialloblù wins, seven draws and three away victories.

Parma’s last two goals at the Tardini came from the penalty spot. Out of the 23 goals that they’d scored at home prior to this, just one came via a spot-kick. Along with Roma, Atalanta are one of two sides that have had twelve players of different nationalities find the net for them this season, more than the rest of the league. The upcoming showdown will see the side that has scored the most substitute goals at home (Parma – nine) face off against the team that has achieved the same away from home (Atalanta – twelve) during the current Serie A season.

Kulusevski is the youngest player in the Top Five European leagues to have provided at least eight assists during the 2019/20 season. The Swedish winger has set up a teammate to score on at least four more occasions than any other player in Parma’s squad. Matteo Darmian scored in his last Serie A match: it was his first goal in the Italian top flight. Jasmin Kurtic played 83 matches and scored ten goals in Serie A as an Atalanta player under Gian Piero Gasperini. Alberto Grassi and Simone Colombi will be up against their former side: while the former made 34 appearances and scored one goal for Atalanta, the latter never took to the pitch for the Orobici. Matteo Scozzarella, meanwhile, failed to get on the scoresheet for Atalanta in three league fixtures.
