Parma, 4 August 2020 – Today, in a press conference held in the Press Room at the Stadio Ennio Tardini, Parma Calcio 1913 and PharmaNutra S.p.A, announced the renewal of their partnership, and their massage coadiuvant brand Cetilar®. Still together, for the fourth season in a row, following some remarkable accomplishments together, all thanks to the values that we share, those that are integral to both organisations’ DNA.
A renewal that is testament to the continuity in their commercial association and the shared desire to pursue new goals together. An agreement that is very welcome and by no means taken for granted in a period of great difficulty as a result of the pandemic that has shaken the world in recent months. However, when we share values and objectives we can continue to work as a team: and we continue along a path we have been pursuing together since 2017, as we look ahead to an exiting new season of sport.
Cetilar® will feature for the fourth season running on Parma Calcio’s official shirt. Not only is the brand becoming increasingly well-known in the world of football, but also in other sporting disciplines, including motorsport, running, sailing and Paralympic sport. In the 2020/21 season, Cetilar® and PharmaNutra will once more be at Parma’s side whenever they take to the pitch. But this year, they will also feature as sponsors on all official Parma training kit, produced by Erreà, as presented in today’s conference, and so Cetilar® will be at the Crociati’s side at the Collecchio Training Centre, too. Not to mention the continued and long-standing collaboration between the Crociati medical staff and the company.
“PharmaNutra and Cetilar®️ will be at our side next season, too” – announced Pietro Pizzarotti, President of Parma Calcio 1913, “and I assure you that this is not something that we take for granted, on the contrary. This should be taken as a strong message, one that is testament to our shared values, identity, and objectives. It’s a complicated situation for everyone in the world, not just for people in Italy, and it’s vital that we all work as a team. That’s why we’re more chuffed than ever with our relationship with Cetillar®️ as we gear up for next season. we’ve always been on the same wavelength, and we can’t wait to carry on our journey together. We’re hoping that we can continue to achieve great things together.
Our congratulations go out to the players and to the club for a great season, and we’re really happy to be collaborating with Parma Calcio next year in Serie A as well: it’s a decision that we made during the lockdown, because we are keen to strengthen our relationship with the Club further, because as we have seen time and time again, this relationship goes far beyond a mere sponsorship deal,” explained Carlo Volpi, Managing Director of PharmaNutra, during the press conference.
“We are certain of the fact that, particularly in times like these, there is a need for a strong recovery in all sectors of the economy, including professional football, which has great significance on both an economic and a societal level for the whole nation, and a key role in leading the recovery of all sporting activity, including at amateur and youth levels. PharmaNutra and Parma Calcio 1913, despite being in different sectors, are two shining examples of Italian enterprise and we share the same values and ambitions. Our company is continuing to grow, and we have expanded our presence abroad, launched a range of new products and developed innovative new technology. Before the end of 2020, we will be growing from the AIM list to the STAR segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, which provides additional confirmation of the growth path our company is pursuing,” Volpi concluded.
