MEDICAL UPDATE FROM COLLECCHIO

Collecchio, 6 October 2018 – Ahead of Genoa vs. Parma, here is the latest medical report from the club.

GERVINHO: During the Empoli match, he picked up a grade one injury to the rectus fermoris muscle in the quadriceps in his left leg. He has started on his path to recovery with a cycle of treatment.

ROBERTO INGLESE: He has started to follow personalised work on the pitch and will look to make the most of the international break in order to recover fully.

FEDERICO DIMARCO: After the tear to the right abdominal and abductors muscle suffered against Empoli and following consultation with Professor Orava, it has been decided that an operation is the best course of action. It will take place in Turku Finland on 15 October.

FRANCISCO SIERRALTA: During the Empoli match, he suffered a high-grade injury to the rectus fermoris muscle in the right quadriceps and he has begun on specialised cycle of treatment in Munich with Professor Müller-Wohlfahrt.

ALBERTO GRASSI: He is continuing with his recovery plan and continues to be consistently monitored by the clubs’ medical staff.

MATTEO SCOZZARELLA: He is continuing with his recovery plan and has already started to train in part with the rest of the group.

JACOPO DEZI: His recovery plan is continuing and he is under constant monitoring from the club’s medical staff.

GIANNI MUNARI: He is approaching the completion of his recovery plan after the operation to his anterior cruciate ligament.
