Parma9 March 2019“I hadn’t played since 30 September, to come back after so long was thanks to hard work and it was incredible,” said Federico Dimarco after today’s home win against Genoa. “I think that we dominated for large spells of the game, they put us under some pressure at the start of the second half but we did well to stay in the game and score from the chance at a corner.”

“This was an important match against a direct rival and we got the win,” continued Dimarco. “Not getting results before made this win vital because we needed to get in a position for survival. We had 30 points, coming from home and away games. It didn’t change anything.’ Dimarco also commented on his own display: “I need to keep working, I’ve been out for a long time so I now need to look to be ready when called on. Now, we’ll play Lazio in Rome and we’ll go to play. We know that it will be hard but we know what we can do. We’re a bit calmer now, this win was really important.”
