Fidenza, 22 March 2019 – Jonathan Biabiany spoke earlier today at the Meet & Greet organised at the Fidenza Village. He was rewarded after making 150 Parma appearances and he spoke to journalists in attendance at the event.
“I’m obviously very happy for my 150 Parma appearances. I remember every match played here, the best experience was qualifying for the Europa League. My year so far? I had some problems at the start, it was important for me to get back in condition. By playing with more consistency, I’m always doing better. Scoring again? When it happens, I’ll be the happiest of all.”
“The league table? We still need more points to stay up, we’re focused on that now. We need to look to get points in the next game. We’ll need spirit and focus, from the start of the year as that’s the only way you can get points. The Lazio game was one of those things that happens. Speaking for everyone, we just weren’t at it in the first half. That’s to be forgotten but we did better in the second half. I’ve always played in different roles, according to what the Coach needs. It’s then on us players to show what we can do and I don’t believe that your role changes anything in this regard.
“Atalanta are a different team to face, they’re one of the most in-form sides at the moment in the league. We need to get back to doing what we have been doing from the start. The enthusiasm from the crowd is very nice and it pushes us on to always give more.”
