BASTONI MAKES ITALY UNDER-21 DEBUT

Parma, 12 October 2018 –  It was a good experience for Alessandro Bastoni in the Italy Under-21 National Team’s most recent match against Belgium.

The Crociati defender who arrived on loan from Inter in the summer made his debut for the Azzurrini in the friendly played in Udine which ended with the visitors winning 1-0. It was at the same stadium that will host the Under-21 European Championship final in eight months

Bastoni came on for Romagna 15 minutes into the second half to make his Under-21 debut. He had previously been called up by Luigi Di Biagio at the end of August but had to drop out to continue with his recovery at Collecchio.
